Laura is WA’s first and only clay target shooting Olympian and WA’s first and only clay target shooting Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist. She has over 20 years experience that she is enjoys sharing with our participants.
Laura is an accredited Australian Clay Target Association Club Coach, an International Shooting Sports Federation D level coach and holds a degree in Exercise and Sport Science.
She has represented Australia at numerous World Cups, World Championships and is a two time Continental Champion in the discipline of Olympic Skeet.
Nicko has been a clay target shooter since 2013. His pet disciple is sporting clays but he enjoys and is proficient in almost every discipline of clay target shooting. He has attained AA grading in all three codes of sporting clays.
His proudest achievements include winning a SCA Compak WA State Championship, a SSAA Sporting WA State Championship and a SSAA WA State 5 Stand Championship.
He has made numerous WA state teams in SCA Sporting clays, WA Clay Target Association (WACTA) DTL (trap), WACTA 5 Stand Sporting and SSAA 5 Stand Sporting.
He enjoy sharing his wide depth of knowledge with everyone he instructs.
Jerry has over 14 years experience in clay target shooting and enjoys introducing new people to the sport.
Jerry spends a considerable amount of time volunteering for the West Australian Gun Club and is a true asset to the club. He also enjoys contributing to the West Australian community through his work for charities and fund raising.
Tahlia has been a clay target shooter for over 3 years and have been an instructor for 2 years.
The main discipline she competes in is Down the line (DTL) however she also enjoys shooting skeet, sporting and ISSF trench. She competed at the 2019 DTL state titles where she was selected for the WA State Junior Travelling Team.
Her proudest achievements in shooting include winning the overall handicap event at the Festival of Clays held at the West Australian Gun Club in 2019 and winning 3 sashes in Busselton also in 2019.
Tahlia in an excellent communicator and is currently studying a Paramedicine degree.
